November 15, 2023 — Jonathan’s Path, a nonprofit organization that offers continuous services for teens in or aging out of foster care in Middle Tennessee, is pleased to announce a partnership with Thrive Tutoring, a leading tutoring service that provides one-on-one academic tutoring, test preparation, and special education advocacy. The collaboration aims to foster not only academic success but also the development of essential life skills such as critical thinking, communication, and problem-solving.
“Teens in foster care bounce from home to home at the highest rate than any other age group. Bouncing homes cause these teens to change schools and are constantly falling further and further behind,” said Jonathan’s Path Co-Founder, Carrie DuRard. “Our partnership with Thrive Tutoring will ensure youth are able to get the extra support needed increasing their chance of making it to graduation, getting a GED or getting into college.”
