INAUGURAL FUNDRAISER FOR TEENS IN FOSTER CARE FEATURING RECORDING ARTIST TASHA LAYTON

FRANKLIN, TN Jonathan’s Path is hosting their inaugural Creekside Cocktails & Cuisine Fundraiser to bring awareness to, and raise funds for, teenagers currently in or aging out of foster care in Middle Tennessee. Jonathan’s Path was founded as a response to the problem teens face entering and navigating foster care in our state. The vision is to provide stable and loving homes with a familial environment to guide teenagers into adulthood. Join us for an enchanted evening under the stars with scrumptious food, tasty cocktails and mocktails, a silent auction and inspirational stories.

The evenings musical entertainment, Tasha Layton, spent four years touring as a back-up vocalist for Katy Perry and was recently named one of Billboard’s Top 5 female Christian artists of 2020 on the heels of her breakthrough single, “Into The Sea (It’s Gonna Be OK). Tasha just announced her first solo tour this year.

Jonathan’s Path co-founder, Carrie DuRard, stated, “This is our first major fundraiser and we’re so grateful for the enthusiasm and support we’ve received from the community. There is an urgent and overwhelming need to help teens in DCS care with long-term placement and independent living once they age-out of the system. Think about how your child would do in a similar situation – it’s hard to grasp sometimes. These kids didn’t ask to be put in the situation, but here they are and we’re focused on helping them through their trauma and preparing them for a successful adulthood.”
