When Emmanuel T. first walked into Jonathan’s Path’s annual holiday event hosted by the Vrabel Young Men’s Collaborative, he never imagined it would be a turning point in his academic journey. Now, just a few months later, the proud teen is donning a cap and gown as he graduates early — an achievement made possible in part by a single, powerful gift: a Chromebook.

The Chromebook gave Emmanuel the tools he needed to stay on track with coursework, complete assignments, and stay connected with his teachers and peers — opportunities that are often out of reach for foster youth without consistent access to technology.“ This story is exactly why we do what we do,” said Juleesia Santiago-Karim, Program Director at Jonathan’s Path. “We’re so proud of Emmanuel and deeply thankful to MTC and Rachel Albertson for helping bridge the digital divide. These small but powerful acts of support help youth like Emmanuel rewrite their stories.” Jonathan’s Path continues its mission to empower teens in and aging out of foster care by removing barriers and building better futures — one Chromebook, one connection, one success story at a time.
