Bright Soles Bash 2025: A Record-Breaking Night of Impact and Inspiration

What a night! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, the 2025 Bright Soles Bash raised over $223,000 in support of Jonathan’s Path—and that’s not all. We were honored with a surprise $100,000 grant from DCS Commissioner Margie Quin, propelling us even further in our mission to build lasting, stable futures for youth aging out of foster care.

  • The Lived Experience Gallery captivated guests, offering a powerful glimpse into the journeys of the young people we serve. Attendees left inspired by the stories of perseverance, resilience, and success from our JP youth.

  • The Silent Auction brought in amazing support, featuring one-of-a-kind experiences, stunning jewelry, rare bourbons, and more—generously donated by sponsors who believe in the work we’re doing.

  • Our Live Auction, energized by the incredible Tom Riles, was a highlight of the night. With contagious enthusiasm and a touch of friendly competition, Tom kept the room buzzing and the bids flying high.

  • One of the most amazing moments of the evening was our Light the Path giving appeal. In a moving show of support, guests pledged donations live in the room—together raising $100,000 to help fund housing, mentorship, and gap services for youth aging out of foster care. It was a moment of unity, purpose, and hope we won’t soon forget.

  • One of the most touching moments of the evening came when Rayven, one of our incredible JP youth, took the stage to perform a spoken word piece she wrote titled “The Ones Who Stayed.” Her powerful words captured the heartbreak of instability and the healing that comes when someone finally stays. Her tribute to the Jonathan’s Path team as “the ones who stayed” brought the room to tears and reminded us all why this work matters.

And let’s talk about the Shoe Showdown—the style was bold, fierce, and full of flair! If you’re planning to join us in 2026, consider this your official notice: it’s time to level up your shoe game.

So why black cocktail attire and bright shoes?

Because without stable housing and critical support, the future for youth aging out of foster care can be uncertain and full of obstacles. These teens often go unseen—but together, we’re changing that.

We wear bright shoes to symbolize HOPE—and with your support, we’re walking alongside these young people, providing the family, mentorship, and resources they need to step confidently into a brighter future.
